There are good reasons why Tanzania is called the Land of Wonders. We will give you a custom quote for any adventure you desire. Join us for the adventure of a lifetime. We organize Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru treks, and many wild park safaris. We have guided many visitors safely, reliably, and professionally from the Serengeti plains to Kilimanjaro’s summit. A trip to Africa is not complete without a visit to view the wildlife in the famous national parks: Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara, and Tarangire. On safari, you can see giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, elephants, hippos, and a large variety of birds. Among the more rare treats are rhinos, leopards, cheetah, or a lion kill.
Encounter incredible wildlife in the Great Rift Valley and the vast savannas of the Serengeti Each year, almost two million wildebeest around the same time, the circular great wildebeest migration begins in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area of the southern Serengeti in Tanzania and loops in a clockwise direction through the Serengeti National Park and north towards the Masai Mara reserve.
Itineraries
Day 1
Arrive in Tanzania
You will be picked up at the Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to Arusha town, at your arranged hotel. You will meet your driver guide who will brief you on your upcoming safaris, then rest until the next day morning.Day 2
Arusha - Tarangire National Park
The drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park takes about three hours. This park is spectacular in the dry season when many of the migratory wildlife species come back to the permanent waters of the Tarangire River. Huge herds of wildebeest, zebras, elephants, elands, and Oryx gather to stay in Tarangire until the onset of the rain when they migrate again to good grazing areas.Day 3
Tarangire to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, morning game drives to Ngorongoro Crater for a full day game drive inside the crater. This is the best place in Tanzania to see black rhino as well as the pride of lions that include the magnificent black-maned males. There are lots of colorful flamingos and a variety of water birds. Other game that you can see includes leopard, cheetah, hyena, other members of the antelope family, and small mammals.Day 4
Ngorongoro Crater – Ndutu
The Day starts with the early game drive in Ndutu area Most of us know about the “Great Migration” from nature programs that capture some of the most thrilling moments on film. Often misunderstood, the migration is a perpetual, year-round process involving over one million wildebeest and 200,000 zebras who roam the plains quietly, in search of food and water. While some antelope and hyena may follow the herds, other animals remain in their territories or have separate migratory patterns. The migration’s most dramatic moments often occur when large numbers of wildebeest and zebra make river crossings, during which they must elude predators in a desperate fight for survival. There is no telling exactly when these highly dramatic movements will occur, but all safari goers are sure to see plenty of wildebeest and zebra while in Tanzania.Day 5
Ndutu - Lake Eyasi
Early in the morning we Drive to Lake Eyasi. You will see great birdlife along the shore, and location alone makes it a great place to spend a couple of nights. Also, the meadows along the lake shores and forest are home to a wide variety of wildlife including various birds, greater and lesser flamingos, storks, and pelicans. Several pleasant, private campsites are located in forest clearings by the lake, and these provide grassy tent spaces and shower facilities made mostly from local materials.Day 6
Lake Eyasi - Manyara National Park
Today we drive to Lake Manyara National Park takes about 30 Minutes. After having a Picnic lunch in Manyara, you start a late afternoon game drive, which is the best time to view animals in this park. When you approach it from the east, the Rift Valley escarpment looms on the horizon forming an impressive backdrop to the lake. In the tall trees of the ground water forest, monkeys leap from branch to branch, and on the escarpment, elephants stand in the shade. Other animals frequently seen are zebras, impalas, monkeys, giraffes, buffalos, hippos, and others. In the late afternoon, drive back to Arusha.Day 7
Lake Eyasi - Lake Manyara
After our morning visits to see the Hadzabe hunter-gatherers and the local blacksmith, we will have our breakfast before we journey the 2 ½ hours to Lake Manyara where we will have our lunch and then enjoy an afternoon game-drive. On arrival at Lake Manyara, and after our lunch, we get back into our vehicle to cover the highlights of this scenic park. Set against the rugged Rift Valley escarpment, and characterised by its shimmering lake, Manyara is rich in vegetation and the wildlife that thrives here. Enjoy the tranquillity as majestic pink flamingos wade elegantly, picking out a meal of algae from the shallow, alkaline waters. On land, Manyara’s terrain is compact, yet boasts differing environments such as diverse forests fed by waters seeping from the nearby escarpment. Monkeys are abundant, but look out too for the lions, giraffe, warthog and grumpy Cape buffalo who all call this park ‘home’. Hold your nose when we reach the hippo pool, because these big lumps smell!Day 8
